There is a word in our tradition: mitzvah, a commandment, an obligation. Protecting Jewish life is one of them.
We are raising $36,000 for the Jewish Alliance Security Fund because Jewish life cannot flourish where Jews do not feel safe. Security is not a luxury. It is the foundation that allows our communities to gather, connect, and stand proudly as Jews.
When we gather publicly and proudly, security makes that possible. Most people never see the coordination happening behind the scenes, but it is there every time.
