Holocaust Survivor Housing Fund

Every Holocaust survivor deserves to age with dignity, stability, and the security of knowing they have a safe place to call home.

The survivors who are still with us today deserve our support now. While we can never undo what they endured, we can help make sure their later years are filled with greater comfort, security, and peace of mind.

The American Jewish Alliance and its chapters are raising funds through the Holocaust Survivor Housing Fund to provide direct support to survivors facing housing insecurity or financial challenges. Together, we can help ensure they remain safely housed and supported while we still have the opportunity to be there for them.

What the Fund Supports

Funds may be used to help Holocaust survivors with:

• Rent and housing expenses
• Independent or assisted living costs
• Essential utilities and household expenses
• Housing-related accessibility needs
• Moving or relocation expenses when necessary
• Other essential costs that help survivors remain safely and independently housed

Why This Matters

Holocaust survivors have already endured unimaginable hardship. They should not have to spend their later years worrying about whether they can afford a safe and stable home.

This fund allows us to respond when a survivor needs assistance and provide meaningful, practical support that protects their independence and dignity.

Donations to the Holocaust Survivor Housing Fund are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law through American Jewish Alliance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Funds will be restricted to supporting the housing and essential living needs of Holocaust survivors.
